The Her Universe Fashion Show will be a must-see event at San Diego Comic Con this year. The annual event will take place for the 9th time hosted by Ashley Eckstein (voice of Ahsoka Tano, Star Wars), on Thursday, July 20th at 6 p.m. PT, in the Harbor Ballroom of the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel.
Ashley’s co-host for the show will be Michael James Scott (Aladdin on Broadway’s Genie) and the show will celebrate 100 Years of Disney.
The fashion show will highlight Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and more with fun for everyone in attendance. Designers from around the country will participate and compete with their original designs in the inclusive event to ultimately design a special collection for Hot Topic.
An expert panel of judges and the audience will select the winners. The 2022 design winners, Cindy Guillermo and Michael Burson, along with SVP Hot Topic Merchandising, Robin Motts, Disney voice of Mickey Mouse, and Disney Artist, Bret Iwan will be judging the designs.
The Her Universe Lobby will become a tribute to Disney’s Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas with Hot Topic, in celebration of the 30th anniversary. Attendees will walk through a winding cemetery path and play games.
Those who wish to attend may check in from 11 AM on Thursday, July 20th at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel Harbor Ballroom, with doors opening at 4:15 PM. The show starts at 6 PM and is free for all to attend.
