Rachel Roth grew up at the comic book shop and at home playing video games, which lead her to the realm of cosplay. Cosplay was her gateway to the world of design and sewing. After attending fashion school she opened her own geek-inspired fashion store. She currently designs mainly as a hobby but feels it helps to make her who she is.
Rachel Roth’s entry into this year’s Her Universe Fashion Show is based on the game Overwatch. More Specifically D.Va, but instead focused on her Mech, versus just the driver. This entry started as a jumpsuit but transformed on the runway to be a cropped jacket and skirt with explosive light-up elements.
