Aaliayah Frye comes from Boerne Texas, and followed her passion for cosplay and fashion to a degree from the Art Institute of San Antonio. She believes that Geek Couture

Aaliayah’s design for the Her Universe Fashion Show 2018 is based on the spirit animals in Coco, known as Alebrije, in the film they are normal animals like cats or dogs, but in the spirit world are mythical creatures with bright colors and ability to fly. Her design is a pantsuit with marigolds falling across the fabric as well as a cape designed to resemble wings.
