This was the fourth annual fashion and art show held by The Garment League, meant to showcase some of the most talented fashion designers, artists and trendsetters, in region.
24 designers/stylists created runway shows competing for designer/stylist of the year. This years event was different and was done in a tailgating style, with three 75’ runways, all showing the same designers varying in order. This style allows for better social distancing, making the event safer. All this took place on the roof of the Park Central garage, allowing not just a view of the fashion and art, but the surrounding downtown Phoenix.
The crowd was encouraged to vote via text for their favorite designer/stylist, and there were amazing showings from all participants.
This year’s stylist of the year went to Mozzerati by Randi England. She was last year’s winner and kept her title.
This year artist and fashion designer, Ruby Farias of Ruby Farias Designs was presented The Garment League’s Fashion Humanitarian of the Year Award for 2021.
