California artist, Hailey Jensen, is a self-taught seamstress inspired by nature and historical fantasy, enabling her to bring to life the designs of her dreams. She entered the Her Universe Fashion Show in 2017 with a “Spirited Away” design, and she describes her experience as “inspiring”. She was able to make something that she didn’t think she was capable of creating, but she also met creative people who inspire her every day. As an enthusiast of Disney throughout her life, this year’s design was inspired by the feelings of magic when seeing the castle from Main Street the first time. Her design is to give people the feeling of that magic in the fairytale.
