Growing up in Snohomish, Washington, Jill N. Nofziger has been interested in fashion and fantasy since she was a young child. While pursuing a degree in cognitive psychology and loving fashion design, she was driven to shift her focus and change to a career as a designer. In her thrilling second year as a finalist in the Her Universe Fashion Show, is also currently working in Ventura California, where she lives, designing and costuming for TV and Film. Having completed degrees in fashion design and advanced theater costume design from FIDM, she lives with her husband, Welsh Corgi and black cat. Growing up she was told that costumes were juvenile, but she feels that “geek couture” empowers individuals.
